Tibetan OM - Round Pendant with Leather Loop

Hand-made, this is a lightweight resin pendant, carved with the Tibetan letter for the seed syllable OM.

Just as a tiny seed contains a majestic tree, each seed syllable contains the essence of wisdom and compassion. OM is said to be the one of the oldest and most widely known seed syllables and many mantras start with OM. It is primordial purity.

OM has three letters within it (A, U, and M), representing the  body, speech and mind of the Buddha. It also represents the three bodies of the Buddha; dharmakaya, sambhogakaya, and nirmanakaya. OM pacifies ignorance.

The leather band is cleverly tied with a slip knot that allows expansion and contraction to suitable length.
